FLOCK CLOCKER. The public-records map of America's surveillance camera network. DISCLAIMER: Flock Clocker is an independent public-records and transparency tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any government agency, police department, or camera vendor (including Flock Safety). We map public records. We do not represent any government entity. WHAT IT IS Flock Clocker maps where automated license-plate reader cameras and similar surveillance systems are deployed across the United States, and shows the public contracts and spending that pay for them. These systems record the movements of ordinary drivers, most never connected to any crime. They spread fast, usually funded through government procurement and approved in city council meetings most residents never see. Flock Clocker reads those public records nationwide (government procurement filings, city council agendas and minutes, and cooperative-purchasing contracts) and puts what it finds on a searchable public map, with every record traced to its source.
