4Fish

4fish is your digital fishing log – for all types of fishing, with a special focus on carp fishing. 🎣 DOCUMENT YOUR CATCHES Record every catch with fishing method, fish species, length & weight, bait, rig, hook size, lead weight, location, wraps, depth, photo, and voice note. Weather data and location are automatically added. 📍 SAVE SPOTS Mark your best fishing spots with GPS directly on the map. Save depth, bottom structure, number of wraps, notes, photos, and voice notes – all in one place. 🧭 LIVE NAVIGATION TO YOUR SPOTS Know that problem? You find a great spot by boat, but can't find it again the next time. 4fish solves that: Live GPS coordinates on the map, a course indicator, and a distance display guide you back to your spot with centimeter-level accuracy. 📅 SESSIONS Document your sessions as well as your catches. This way, you can keep track of entire fishing days and see in retrospect where and how you fished. 🗺️ MAP WITH ALL ENTRIES AND SPOTS All catches and spots on an interactive OpenStreetMap map. Filter by catches or spots, or use the navigation mode directly from the map view. 📏 SORTING SPOTS BY DISTANCE Show your spots sorted by distance from your current location – perfect if you have 50+ spots saved and want to quickly find the next one. ⚡ AUTOMATIC WEATHER & WATER CONDITIONS When you record a catch, the location and complete weather data (temperature, wind, air pressure, moon phase, cloud cover) are automatically determined. This also works retroactively using the EXIF date of your photos. If your location isn't automatically detected, you can mark it on a map so that historical weather data can also be loaded. 📷 TWO SHOOTING MODES • Now: GPS and current weather displayed directly on-site while taking photos • After the fact, from photos: GPS coordinates and capture time extracted from the photo's EXIF data, historical weather automatically added, manual entry also possible. 📊 STATISTICS & ANALYSIS Automatically analyze your catches: your most successful waters, best fishing times, most common fish species, and personal records. Identify patterns – when, where, and in what weather conditions the fish bite best. 🔒 PRIVATE & LOCAL All data remains exclusively on your device. No registration, no account, no cloud service required. 📴 ALSO USABLE WITHOUT A NETWORK Your saved catches, sessions, and spots remain available on your device. Depending on the function, internet and location access are required for weather data, map display, location search and navigation.
