fa.to is a private file vault that encrypts the chosen data on your device before it reaches your storage. Connect your own compatible SFTP server or sign in to an existing fa.to hosted vault. Your files, filenames, folder structure, metadata and generated previews are encrypted before leaving your phone. Your storage provider receives only encrypted vault data. Features include: • Client-side AES-256-GCM encryption • Support for your own SFTP storage • Optional access to an existing fa.to hosted vault • File and complete-folder uploads • Share files to fa.to from other Android apps • Background uploads with progress and cancellation • Encrypted image and video thumbnails • Image previews & Video playback within the app • File sorting, folders, search-friendly browsing and multiple view styles • Trash with restoration and automatic cleanup • Biometric unlock • Configurable automatic locking • Optional recovery file fa.to does not require an account when you use your own SFTP server. SFTP credentials and vault keys remain protected on your Android device. Because encryption keys are controlled by you, forgotten vault passphrases cannot ordinarily be recovered by fa.to. Keep your recovery file and another copy of important files somewhere safe.
