Full description
Farvater is a VPN that says “connected” only after real data has arrived. A handshake proves little: a network can let it through and then quietly drop, throttle or reset your traffic. So before Farvater says “connected”, it pulls a real 256 KiB download through the tunnel, and turns the VPN on only once the bytes are here. How it works • Bring your own catalogue. Paste a link to your paths, from your provider or to your own server, or share it to Farvater. Farvater runs no servers of its own and has no accounts. • Proven delivery. You see how much arrived, how long it took and when the first byte came. • Receipts, not ping. Every connection your apps make leaves a receipt: bytes delivered, time to first byte, the path that carried it and how it ended. • The path that delivers leads. Paths are ranked by their receipts. The rest stand by, and scouting connections keep checking them. • Resets and throttling are routed around. When a path starts getting reset or throttled, Farvater bypasses it for a while, and a timer shows when it will be tried again. No path is switched off for good. Privacy • No accounts, no ads, no analytics. • Your catalogue stays on your device; receipts live only in memory. • The core is open source under Apache-2.0: github.com/tsyrenov1987/farvater-core Farvater uses Android’s VpnService to send your apps’ traffic through the paths in your catalogue. Traffic to every path is encrypted; paths without encryption are refused. You need a catalogue to connect. Questions: [email protected]

What's new

• New core: the HTTPS channel looks like a regular browser, reconnects as it goes and masks packet sizes; UDP goes through it too. • Your subscription is on the main screen: days, traffic, support and the access key. • Fixed connection drops after a network change (Wi-Fi ↔ mobile) or idle. • Orden subscriptions refresh more reliably in Russia: through a service address first.
