EDD Hub Takeaway

EDD Hub helps approved takeaways and restaurants quickly access extra local delivery capacity when they are busy, short-staffed or need emergency delivery support. Create a delivery request in seconds and send it to approved independent drivers operating in your city. Drivers can choose whether to accept the run and provide an estimated collection time. EDD Hub is designed specifically for overflow delivery support, giving takeaway staff a simple way to request additional drivers without replacing their existing ordering or delivery systems. Takeaway features include: • Create single delivery runs • Create bundle runs with multiple drops • Set the payment offered to the driver • Choose when the order will be ready • Add destination area and postcode details • Capture or upload delivery slip photos • Send requests to approved local drivers • See when a driver accepts the run • View the accepted driver's name, photo and vehicle details • Call the assigned driver directly from the app • Track progress through arrival, pickup and delivery • Report driver no-shows or delivery issues • View active and previous delivery runs • Reuse eligible previous runs when needed When a driver accepts a request, the takeaway can see their collection estimate and follow the run through each stage. EDD Hub does not provide customer ordering, customer accounts or customer tracking. Your takeaway continues to manage its own customers, orders and payments as normal. Driver payment is set by the takeaway and paid directly to the driver using your existing arrangement. EDD Hub does not process driver payouts. Takeaway accounts must be approved before live delivery requests can be created. EDD Hub gives local food businesses a practical backup delivery network for the moments when their existing drivers are not enough.
