Full description
Volt Runner is a free offline parkour runner set inside a vertical neon tower. You control a single runner sprinting through a collapsing service corridor while laser gates fire on their own clock, hunter drones break formation to dive at you, and whole sections of the deck are simply missing. THREE INPUTS, NOT ONE Tap to jump. Tap again in the air for a volt dash that adds a burst of height and charges your surge meter. Swipe down to slide flat under a laser curtain, or to dive fast when you are already airborne. Press and hold anywhere to grab a magnetic wall rail and run along it above an electrified floor — the grip meter drains the whole time you are up there, and when it hits zero the rail lets go of you. REAL HAZARDS ON REAL TIMERS Blink gates fire on a fixed cycle and dim while they recharge, so you can read them and time your run through. Sweep beams travel up and down on a sine path. Laser curtains block everything above slide height. Patrol drones hold their line while divers wait for you to come into range and then drop. Every hit is a hitbox overlap at that exact frame — nothing in the game is decided by a dice roll behind the scenes. THE FLOOR IS NOT ALWAYS THERE Shafts open in the deck with the neon surface line cut clean away, red lips on both sides and hazard chevrons marching into the gap. Miss the jump and you fall through. Three lives, then the run ends and you get a full breakdown of the distance, score, best combo, bolts, gates, drones and wall-run seconds you earned. IT GETS FASTER, ON PURPOSE Every 300 metres crosses a speed threshold. The scene pace jumps, the HUD calls out SPEED UP with the new level, the KPH read-out climbs and the streaks behind the runner stretch out. By the deep sectors the gaps between obstacles have tightened and the same gate you cleared comfortably at level 1 gives you a fraction of the time. VOLT SURGE Collecting bolts fills the surge meter. When it is full the surge button lights up: three seconds of extra speed, full immunity and double score, and drones you hit during it are destroyed instead of destroying you. CHARACTER SHOP THAT CHANGES THE NUMBERS Six runners, and each one edits the simulation rather than just the sprite. Neon Ghost adds 15% speed. Cobalt Stryker adds 10% jump. Plasma Pulse widens the bolt magnet by 18%. Zenith lifts every stat by 6%. Vector adds 9% acceleration. Void Walker cuts drone detection range by 20% and unlocks by rank instead of by price. Bolts and distance pay out credits after every run; there is no way to buy credits with money. DAILY RUN Every calendar day generates one seeded course. The seed is derived from the date, so the obstacle order, the gate timings and the drone placements are identical for everyone running that day. Your daily best is ranked against a fixed field of tower ghosts and your own row is highlighted, with a live countdown to the next cycle. TROPHIES Ten milestones tracked from real play — a 4,000 m single run, 250 laser gates cleared, 300 seconds of wall-run grip, 400 drones slipped, a x100 combo, ten seeded daily runs and more. Lifetime distance, runs, bolts, gates, drones and best score are all recorded, with a completion ring across the whole set. Portrait only. Fully offline. No internet permission, no ads, no purchases — nothing you do leaves your device.
