Full description
An old phone at your window turns any feeder into a bird camera — with no camera to buy. Press an old phone's lens against the glass, point it at the feeder outside and leave it plugged in. It watches all day, records every visit as a short clip and names the bird on the device. Your main phone shows who came while you were out. HOW IT WORKS 1. Connect two phones. Both on the same Wi-Fi, one four-digit code — or scan the QR. 2. Frame the feeder. Press the lens to the glass and drag the watch zone over the feeder. 3. Leave it watching. Visits arrive on your main phone with the species, the time and a clip. WHAT YOU GET • A feed of today's visits, each with the species named and a clip to play. • A collection that fills as new species arrive: first sightings, visit counts, and how rare each one is where you live. • A weekly highlight reel, cut on the device and ready to share. • Live view of the feeder whenever you are home. WHAT YOU NEED • Two phones, on the same Wi-Fi to pair them and for live view. Connect your own cloud folder and the visits reach you anywhere. Any old Android phone works as the window phone. • A charger for the window phone — it watches through the day and sleeps at night. • A window with a feeder outside it. Any feeder you already have; we do not sell one. PRIVACY Species recognition runs on the phone, offline — no image is sent anywhere to be identified. Clips stay on your phones and, if you connect one, in your own cloud folder. We run no servers and hold none of your video. No account, no advertising. Crash reports can be switched off in Settings. WHAT IT COSTS Live view and today's visits are free, and stay free. The full history, the collection, rare-visitor alerts and the weekly reel open with one lifetime purchase or a yearly plan — your choice. The lifetime one really is once; the yearly one renews until you cancel it in Google Play, and cancelling stops the next charge. Restore takes one tap on a new device. Languages: English, Russian, Spanish, Uzbek. WindowBird identifies birds through window glass in daylight. It is not a night camera: glass blocks infrared, and the birds at a feeder are awake by day. Squirrels and other visitors are recorded and kept, but only birds are named.

What's new

The first release of WindowBird: an old phone at the window becomes a bird feeder camera. - The window phone watches the feeder, films each visit and names the bird on the phone itself. - Your main phone gets every visit over Wi-Fi, or through your own Google Drive. - Collection, weekly reel and a Year Book PDF. Today's visits are free. - Clips are silent: the microphone is never used. Questions or ideas: [email protected]
