Capsight is a supplement tracker and barcode scanner that helps you understand what's on your supplement labels. Scan a bottle, read every ingredient and dose in plain language, and see how your whole supplement stack adds up — all on your device, even offline. SCAN ANY SUPPLEMENT • Point your camera at the barcode of a vitamin, mineral or other dietary supplement and open its label in seconds. • No barcode handy? Search by product name, brand or ingredient. • Recognizes 125,000+ supplement labels from the NIH database. Popular brands work right after install; the full catalog (about 40 MB) downloads automatically and stays up to date. SEE EVERY INGREDIENT AND DOSE • Each product page lists every ingredient with its amount per serving and % Daily Value, straight from the label. • A clear notice flags "proprietary blends" that don't disclose individual amounts. • Ingredient pages explain what each vitamin or mineral is, with a link to the official source. CAPSIGHT SCORE • Every product has a 0–100 Capsight Score that rates how complete and transparent its label information is, built from four parts: Evidence, Transparency, Formula and Dosing information. • Tap the score to see how each part was calculated. It is an informational score, not a health or efficacy rating. • Compare two products side by side, ingredient by ingredient. TRACK YOUR WHOLE STACK • Add the supplements you take to My Stack and set your daily servings. • See the daily total of each vitamin and mineral across all your products, next to general reference values and upper limits for adults from the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements. • Totals that go above the general upper limit are clearly marked. • Spot possible duplicate ingredients when two products contain the same nutrient, even under different names. DOSE REMINDERS • Set a dose reminder for any supplement in your stack: pick a time and the days to repeat. • Reminders are scheduled on your phone and work offline. Mark doses as taken right from the notification. FDA RECALL ALERTS • Capsight checks public FDA recall data from openFDA and lets you know if a product in your stack appears in a recall, with a link to the official notice. PRIVATE AND OFFLINE BY DESIGN • No account and no sign-up. Your stack, reminders and history are stored on your device, with no cloud sync. • Label data comes from the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database, reference values from the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements, and recalls from openFDA. The app keeps a local copy, so scanning, search and My Stack work offline. Capsight is free and supported by ads, which never appear during a scan or over a safety notice.
