Coparia is a co-parenting app for separated parents. It keeps the parenting rotation, the handovers, and everything scheduled around them in one place that both parents can see. Separated parents usually end up running two homes out of three different apps and a long text thread. Coparia is one co-parenting calendar instead, shared properly, so nobody has to ask what is happening on Thursday. ONE CALENDAR, TWO HOMES Start with the rotation you already have. Pick from four common patterns or draw your own, then add the holidays and birthdays that sit on top of it. Every day shows who has the children, and the handover is a thing on the calendar rather than something you remember. SWAPS THAT ARE ACTUALLY AGREED Ask the other parent for a night or a week, and the calendar changes only if they agree. The swap is recorded against the days it moved, so in six months there is an answer to what was agreed and when, without anybody scrolling back through messages. HELPERS, NOT JUST PARENTS A grandparent or a sitter can be a helper rather than a parent. They see what they need to see and nothing else. Flag an event you cannot make, your helpers hear about it, and the first one to accept becomes responsible for that day. MESSAGES WHERE THE CALENDAR IS Co-parenting conversations sit with the calendar they are about, so arranging a swap does not happen in one app and get recorded in another. THE REST OF THE WEEK Lists for the shopping run and the bag for the weekend at the other house. Routines for bedtime and mornings. A journal for the things worth keeping, with photos or files attached. A Need to know card for the allergy, the sizes, the doctor, so whoever has the children has the answer. REMINDERS THAT SUIT YOU Choose what reaches you in the app, by email, or as a push. Take a digest daily, weekly or monthly, or none at all. ASK INSTEAD OF SCROLLING Ask what is happening on Thursday, or when the children are next with you for a full week. Copie reads your calendar and answers. It proposes changes and you apply them; it never edits your schedule on its own. Messages are encrypted, and photos are stripped of their location data before they leave your phone. You can delete your account yourself, from Settings, at any time. We are careful about what deletion means, because a co-parenting record is shared. Deleting your account removes you and your information. It does not rewrite the years the other parent relied on, and we say so rather than pretending otherwise. GETTING STARTED Setting up takes about five minutes.
