Full description
Habit trackers keep score of what you missed. Cairn does the opposite. Some days you work for hours and still can't say what you did. The task got finished, the feeling never arrived, and by evening it's as if nothing happened. Cairn is for exactly that. You set down a stone for each thing you finish — an email sent, a call made, the dishes, a chapter read. Nothing is too small; that's the point. Week by week the stones stack into a cairn, and you get the thing your memory won't give you: proof. No goals to miss. No red marks. No one to compare yourself to. HOW IT WORKS • Tap once, type a line, set the stone down. That's the whole ritual — everything else is optional and one tap further. • A widget on your home screen and a tile in your quick settings, both leading straight to that one line. • Share a photo, a link or a note from any app and it becomes a stone. • Optional categories if you like sorting — ignore them entirely if you don't. • A weekly strip and a quiet streak counter, with a grace day built in. Life happens. WHAT YOU SEE OVER TIME • A heatmap of the last six months, filling in one day at a time. • Your current and longest runs. • Where your effort actually goes, by category — often not where you assumed. OPEN TASKS, IF YOU WANT THEM There's an optional checklist per list, with due dates and drag-to-order. Tick something off and it turns straight into a stone on your cairn — the task doesn't vanish, it becomes part of the record. SHARE IT, OR DON'T Keep your cairn completely private, or share a list with a partner, a friend, a flatmate — anyone who keeps you company. In a shared list you can applaud each other's stones with one tap. No feed, no followers, no strangers, no numbers to lose at. Shared lists are part of Cairn Plus, and whoever you invite needs nothing. QUIET BY DESIGN No ads. No engagement tricks. One daily reminder, at a time you pick, that you can switch off for a day or a week. English and German throughout, works offline, and your whole list saves to a file you keep. WHAT IS FREE, AND WHAT CAIRN PLUS ADDS Setting down stones is free and stays free: as many stones as you like, the streak, the week strip, the whole task list, three looks including a dark one, and an export that is always complete. Nothing is ever taken away. Cairn Plus adds six things: • More than one list, to keep work and life apart • Shared lists, with applause • Photos and documents on a stone, up to ten files • Your own categories in the lists you own • Six more colour worlds: Arcane, Hextech, Moss, Ink, Sandstone, Mist • Your whole history — without Plus the app looks back ninety days One payment or a subscription, whichever you prefer. Google shows the price in your own currency. Your data lives in your own account and is never sold or used for advertising.

What's new

Your streak is counted over your whole history again on the home screen and in the widget, not just in the statistics. When a picture cannot be uploaded, the message now says which one — and whether taking it out helps. On a task there was no message at all. Four things were smaller to tap than they should be: the file row on a stone, the date chips, and the buttons on the two notice cards.
