Full description
Archifi backs up your photos and videos to a server you own. No subscriptions. No tracking. No company scanning your memories for ads. ACCOUNT REQUIRED You need an Archifi account to use this app. Open the app, enter your server URL, username, and password to sign in. How to create an account: 1. Go to archifi.app or your own Archifi server in a browser 2. Register a new account with a username and password 3. Open this app, enter the server address, and sign in 4. Enable auto backup and your photos start uploading immediately Self hosters can run their own Archifi server on a Raspberry Pi, NAS, or VPS and point the app to that address instead. WHY ARCHIFI Cloud photo apps make you rent space for your own memories, forever. Archifi flips that. Connect to your own server and your entire photo library lives on hardware you control. You already pay for storage once. Stop paying for it every month. KEY FEATURES Auto backup Photos and videos upload automatically in the background as you shoot them. Turn it on once and forget about it. Built for large video files Chunked, resumable uploads mean a dropped connection does not ruin a 4K video transfer. Uploads pick up where they left off instead of starting over. Deduplication Archifi checks every file with SHA256 hashing before it uploads. Duplicate photos never eat your storage twice. Family sharing Invite family members to a shared library. Everyone backs up to the same server, everyone sees the same shared albums. Memories Rediscover photos from this day in past years, pulled straight from your own archive, not a third party algorithm trained on your data. Albums and collections Organize your library the way you want it. Group by trip, event, person, or year. Dark mode Easy on the eyes, day or night. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your photos never touch third party servers. No account tiers to upsell you into. No usage tracking. No ad network. No AI model training on your family photos. The only copy of your data lives where you put it. Own your photos. Run your own server. Archifi connects the two.
