"By time — man is surely in loss, except those who believe, do righteous deeds, and counsel one another to truth and to patience." — Surah Al-Asr (103:1-3), in meaning Al-Asr takes its name, and its whole idea, from that oath: your lifetime is capital, spent day by day whether you attend to it or not. The app exists to make that spending visible — to set an intention, plan against it, do the work, and then take honest account of what happened. The loop the app is built on: • Intention — every goal and habit carries an intention you write yourself. It comes back to you at the session and in the reminder, so the "why" doesn't get lost behind the "what". • Plan — a day and week calendar with drag-and-drop, and measurable goals that schedule their own sessions across your days and tell you plainly whether you are on pace or behind. • Do — a Today screen that gathers everything at a glance, with both Hijri and Gregorian dates, and local reminders that fire on time. • Reckon — a weekly review shaped as three honest questions: what was accomplished, did it serve your intention, and what gets renewed next week. In rhythm with your day: • The five daily prayers appear as quiet bands on your calendar, computed on your device with no internet. • You can hold a protected window after each prayer so nothing schedules over it. • Prayer-relative scheduling: "ten minutes after Fajr", "fifteen minutes after Maghrib" — recomputed daily as the times shift. • Hijri dates alongside Gregorian, and Hijri-paced habits such as fasting the white days. • Templates to start from: a Qur'an khatma, memorisation, a worthwhile book, a course, a fitness block, a writing project. Everything else in its place: • Tasks: standalone or goal-linked, with flexible recurrence. • Habits: daily, weekly, monthly, or "n times a week", with a visual continuity view. • Notes: capture an idea fast, then turn it into a task, goal, or habit in one tap. • Review: the harvest of your day, week, month, and year, with trend charts and a yearly habit heatmap. Your intentions never leave your device: Al-Asr runs entirely on your device and needs no account. Your data stays with you, and prayer times are computed on-device with no internet. Sign-in and cross-device sync are entirely optional. Device calendar integration: • One-way sync of sessions, scheduled tasks, and timed habits to a dedicated "Al-Asr" calendar on your device. • Local reminders that carry your intention, not just the task title. Designed Arabic-first: right-to-left, Arabic-Indic numerals, and a calm interface in both light and dark themes. No ads, no tracking, no noise.
