Full description
Alarm Station lets you monitor your community from the inside. Every unit's alarms arrive on one screen in the room where your staff already are: a care desk, a reception counter, an office, a gatehouse or guard station. The alarm is in that room within seconds of the panel tripping. It says what happened and where, in plain words rather than a zone number, alongside the instructions your community wrote for that kind of alarm. One press says somebody is going. A second press, once it is dealt with, records how it turned out. The people who can respond first are usually the last to hear. A signal leaves the property at network speed, and then it waits: for an operator to come free, and for somebody on site to pick up the phone. The care assistant forty feet away should not be at the end of that sequence. Your staff know the resident, not just the zone number. They know whether this has happened before, and they can clear a false alarm before it costs you a fine. WHO IT IS FOR A community can be a building, a campus or a neighborhood. Senior living, group homes, HOAs and guarded communities, student housing, business centers, self-storage. Anywhere there are units to monitor and staff on site. WHAT IS ON THE SCREEN - The alarm that matters most, in the largest type on the screen - Everything else still waiting, underneath it - What to do about it, written by the people who run the community - What has already been handled, for whoever just came on shift - Which units are reporting, and which have gone quiet - A live map or a camera review page, on the alarms that carry one BUILT FOR A SCREEN THAT STAYS ON - Reads across a room, at the size a wall screen needs - On a wall, on a counter, or on a stand at the desk - Ten inches or larger screen holds the alarms and the site's standing state side by side. Below that it shows one at a time. - Portrait or landscape, so a narrow wall is not a problem - Comes back on its own after a power cut or a network outage - Says so, loudly, when it stops hearing from the service. A screen that has quietly died is worse than no screen at all. - No accounts and nobody signs in. It is paired once and stays paired. TRY IT WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT Two demos are built in: a senior living community and a gated community. Pretend sites with pretend alarms, so you can see how Alarm Station works. Nothing connects to anything, there is no sign-in and no setup code, and you can pause it while you look around. REQUIRES AN ALARM COMPANY AND A SUBSCRIPTION Past the demos, this app is one piece of a monitored service sold through alarm dealers. It pairs with a code your provider issues. It is not a standalone product and it will not find an alarm system on its own. WE DO NOT DISPATCH, AND WE DO NOT REPLACE MONITORING Alarm Station shows alarms to the people already on site. It does not call the police, the fire service or an ambulance, and it is not a replacement for a central station that does. It can forward alarms on to your central station as backup, immediately or after a delay you set, so your own staff get the first look and nothing goes unanswered if they cannot take it. The forwarding is optional and your community decides. PRIVACY No advertising, no analytics, no tracking, no user accounts. Where a community turns attribution on, the station records the initials typed at the screen and photographs whoever pressed the button, so that the audit trail has evidence behind it. There is no face recognition of any kind. The full policy is at https://alarmstation.app/privacy

What's new

- Two-way voice: talk to a resident from the panel during an alarm - A settings screen for text size and alarm volume, so a panel can be set up for where it's mounted and how far away it's read from - Screens too small for two columns now show one properly, with the standing list a tap away - Set up the attribution camera before connecting, not just afterwards - The panel now shows its version, for support - Faster, steadier reconnection after a network drop
