Just download the app, choose your mission, select your preferred time or distance, and elevate your run to a cinematic experience! ActionRun currently features over 50 immersive missions across three genres: crime, comedy, and experimental. You can easily filter missions by genre or by choosing between good and evil: secret service agent or old-school gangster. Crime: Dive into the underworld and take on the role of a relentless secret service agent or a cunning criminal mastermind. Prevent internal and international catastrophes, solve mysteries, and outsmart your enemies as you navigate through the dark, dangerous, and violence-infested yet cinematically stylish world of crime. Comedy: Lighten up your runs with ironic & frequently sarcastic missions that put a fun twist on your fitness routine. Engage in slapstick chases, outlandish satirical scenarios & even ''what-the-hell-was-that'' moments that make every workout an entertaining escapade. Experimental: Step into the unknown with unconventional missions that push the boundaries of imagination. Travel in space, time, parallel realities, & into the furthest corners of your own mind. Encounter futuristic settings, bizarre challenges & surreal adventures that turn your exercise into a mind-bending experience. Here’s a short guide for a first-time user: Once the mission has loaded, you will hear the first audio command, which will also be displayed in text form on your phone’s screen. Text commands are scrollable. If the text occupies 40% of the screen, make sure to scroll, as there is likely more text below. If you choose to run a specific distance, the commands will be evenly spaced. For example, if you choose to run 2 miles & the mission has 20 commands, each command will come every 0.1 mile. If you choose to run for 100 minutes, a mission with 20 commands will give you a new command every 5 minutes. Once the mission is over, you’ll be automatically redirected to the “Mission Accomplished” screen. Important to remember: • As long as the map is on the screen, the mission is not over. The last 'action-packed' command is usually Not the last one overall. It is followed by the final, concluding command that in most cases ends with the words 'well done, agent. Later.' • While each command is also displayed in text form on your phone, using earphones enhances the experience by surrounding you with realistic sound effects & dynamic voices, transforming each mission into a cinematic blockbuster. • We don’t dictate your route. Instead, you're free to choose your own path, making every decision a crucial part of your thrilling mission. This freedom adds an element of unpredictability & excitement, transforming each workout into a dynamic adventure and making it more engaging & exhilarating than following a pre-mapped course.
