Abrazo

Abrazo Tango is a mobile platform created for the entire tango community, from new participants, amateur dancers and tango lovers to professional teachers, organizers, DJs, musicians and performers. It helps users discover tango activities, create their own profile, view other members of the community and save favorite events in one place. The mission of Abrazo Tango is to make tango information easier to access, especially for people who are new to the tango world or who participate as amateur dancers. In many cities, tango information is spread across different websites, social media pages, private groups and personal contacts. This can make it difficult for newcomers to understand where to go, what is happening and how to become part of the community. Abrazo Tango brings this information together in a simple and accessible mobile experience. Users can discover public tango events, classes, workshops, practicas and milongas, check event details, explore activities in different cities and save the events they are interested in. The goal is to help people find relevant tango information faster and participate more easily. The app is also useful for professional members of the tango community. Teachers, organizers, DJs, musicians and performers can create a profile, make their role in the community more visible and help users understand who is active in the tango scene. Users can create and complete a personal tango profile with information about their role in the community. Whether someone is just starting tango, dancing socially as an amateur, organizing events or working professionally in tango, Abrazo Tango offers a space to become more visible and connected.
