Lucky Fish

Morning The water is still and the line is ready. On each cast a float glides up and down a tall tension gauge while a strike zone drifts along it, with a brighter core in the middle for a perfect hook. Tap while the float sits in the zone and the fish is landed; tap outside it and one of your lines snaps. Every catch narrows the zone, moves it somewhere else and nudges the float a little faster, while combo, perfect and miss counters keep the score above the gauge. Afternoon The level map follows a winding shoreline through five waters: Reed Shallows, Lily Bay, Gravel Run, Deep Channel and Cold Springs. There are 20 stops along the way, four in each water, and every stop belongs to a real freshwater species such as perch, tench, gudgeon or chub. A stop gives up to three stars and opens the next one on the path, and a catch card at the end shows the fish, your stars, perfect hooks and misses. Evening As the light fades, Deep Water hands you four lines and no target at all. The strike zone keeps shrinking and the float keeps quickening until the last line goes, and a run history lists every attempt with its date, time, perfect hooks and fish caught. Back on the shore, a catch wall holds 24 illustrated species with short notes, and any fish you have landed can become the colour of your lure. The Aquatic Quiz asks twelve questions about freshwater fish per round, drawn from 24, with three hearts and a timer bar. A statistics page keeps count of casts, fish caught, combos and species found, and the whole lake stays on your phone with no internet, no account and no advertising.
