PitaraAI - private note taker

Pitara is a privacy and local first meeting note taker where audio does not leave your device. Transcription and Speaker labelling happen on your device. It is a botless note-taker for people with meeting-full days that works on desktop and phone (watch coming soon), then turns everything you capture into one searchable memory you can share with the people you work with. YOUR DAY BECOMES MEMORY Every recording, transcript and note joins one memory you can question in plain language. Ask across your whole week, not just the document in front of you. What did we promise on pricing? What did I agree to on Tuesday? What has this customer asked for twice? Answers come back drawn from your own material, with the source they came from. SHARE WHAT YOU KNOW A meeting is only worth capturing if someone can use it later. Invite specific people to a document, or publish a link anyone can read. What you share carries the transcript, the notes and the summary together, so a colleague gets the whole picture instead of a paragraph pasted into chat. ASK WHILE YOU ARE STILL IN THE ROOM The ask bar is there during the recording, not only after it. Check what was agreed last quarter without leaving the conversation, and walk into your next meeting already knowing what changed since the last one. TRANSCRIPTION RUNS ON YOUR PHONE Speech-to-text happens on the device itself. Your audio is not sent to a transcription service. You choose where recordings live, on this phone only or synced to your Pitara account, and you can change it later in Settings. Transcripts and notes sync either way. WHAT YOU GET • A live transcript while you are still recording • Speaker labels you can rename, so it reads like a conversation • Summaries of a recording • Rich notes that live alongside the transcript • Folders, full-text search, and a trash you can recover from • Share a note as a link, or invite people to it • One account across phone, desktop and web PRIVACY Your notes and transcripts are encrypted on the device and in transit. Recording never starts on its own, and the app is hidden from the app switcher preview so a glance at your phone does not leak a client name. Recording and transcription work without a connection. Asking questions and syncing need one. Free to download, with free and paid plans.
