Pulsemove

Move, or it keeps ringing. PulseMove is a movement alarm that treats sitting like something you have to get up for — not a notification you swipe away. When it's time to move, your phone rings a real, full-screen alarm. In Strict mode it rings again every minute until your phone's motion sensors confirm you actually walked. No "mark as done." No cheating with a tap. You move, or it rings. You already ignore the stand reminders. This is the one you can't. HOW IT WORKS - Pick your hours and how often you want a nudge — every 15 to 90 minutes. - When a pulse fires, a real alarm rings. It pierces Silent and Focus. - Tap "I'm moving" and a live ring counts your steps as you walk. - Hit the step goal and the alarm goes quiet. Miss it in Strict mode, and it comes back. Verified by your steps, not your word. PulseMove reads your iPhone's pedometer — the alarm only stops when you've genuinely moved. BUILT SO YOU'LL ACTUALLY KEEP IT Most reminder apps get muted by day three. PulseMove is built to survive the snooze reflex: The Pulse — earn Beats every time you move on a pulse, with a bonus for moving fast. Spend Beats on Grace tokens to skip a pulse when life happens. Build a streak that counts honest days only — and repair it if you slip. Knows your calendar — turn on Calendar awareness and PulseMove reads your busy blocks, so it won't ring you mid-meeting. It moves the nudge; it doesn't cancel it. Quiet blocks — carve out focus time, naps, dinner. Set once or make it recurring. No alarms, no exceptions. Two modes — - Normal: a friendly nudge you can dismiss any time. - Strict: relentless. It rings until you move — for the days you don't trust yourself. WHO IT'S FOR - Desk and remote workers who look up and realize they haven't stood in three hours. - Anyone who turned off the Apple Watch stand reminder because it was too easy to ignore. - People who need an external push to build a habit that finally sticks. HONEST BY DESIGN No fake urgency, no health miracles, no "we'll remind you" promises we can't keep. PulseMove sends a real system alarm, so it works whether or not the app is open. When your calendar says you're busy, it says so. When you're paused, it's paused. What you see is what it does. Frequent movement breaks are widely studied — PulseMove just makes them hard to ignore.
