Detoxly - Screen Time Blocker

Screen time control that takes your side — and names the apps designed to keep you hooked. Pick up your phone for a "quick check" and lose 20 minutes? You're not weak — you're in the Scrolling Trance. The feed was engineered to pull you under: rational mind offline, algorithm on autopilot. Your phone's built-in pause is neutral — it has to be, because the apps it pauses are its own store's customers. Detoxly isn't neutral. We show you how Instagram, TikTok, and dating apps are designed to keep you scrolling — something the platform never will. REALITY CHECKS THAT NAME THE TRAP Generic timers count minutes. Detoxly matches the moment to the loop pulling you in — the Comparison Trap on Instagram, the Slot Machine Effect on dating apps, the endless short-form loop behind TikTok, Reels, and Shorts. You see why you reached, right as you reach. HOW IT WORKS: ADAPTIVE FRICTION Hard blocks breed resistance and workarounds. Detoxly works with your brain: a conscious pause where it matters, adapting to your patterns. A digital detox that doesn't run on willpower: 🛑 The Gatekeeper Intercepts impulsive opens of distracting apps — a split-second for your rational brain to say "no" before the dopamine hits. 🤖 Cortex AI™ — Learns Your Weak Moments On-device AI learns when you're most vulnerable and surfaces grounded facts like "you closed Instagram 14 seconds ago." Cortex AI Pro goes deeper — sharper Reality Checks, weekly Insights, daily notification catch-ups. 📊 Health — Your Digital Wellbeing Score One score for screen time, compulsion, sleep and recovery, with app usage stats and an 8-week habits trend: winning or drifting? 🔒 Focus Block — Deep Work Mode Lock in for deep work and productivity — or schedule the same hours every week, free. Apps stay launchable but turn into Reality Checks the moment you reach. Premium adds strict mode and grayscale. 🌑 Sensory Dampening Exceed your daily screen time limit and Detoxly dims the screen and fades audio, stripping the triggers that keep you hooked. 📱 Minimalist Launcher — Distraction-Free A clean, text-only minimalist launcher: the calm of a dumb phone, on the phone you own. Unlike other minimalist launchers and dumb phone apps, it knows why you pick it up. 🔔 Smart Notification Filter Batch and hide non-urgent pings. Cortex AI Pro adds TL;DR summaries — skim a day in seconds.
