Custodis: Redact then ask AI

Custodis hides private details before AI, then puts real names and numbers back in the answer. Both happen on your device. Custodis scans the page and finds your name, Social Security number, account numbers and address. It hides them on your Android phone. You check what is hidden, then ask your question. Black bars leave gaps the AI cannot follow. Custodis replaces each detail with a consistent label, so the AI can still read the document. The real values go back in only on your device. CHECK ITS WORK Custodis is software and can miss or misread a detail. You see every hidden field and the exact text before anything is shared. YOUR DATA • Your original documents stay on this device during redaction and AI use. • Built-in OpenAI and Anthropic access, and permission to copy redacted text outside Custodis, are separate choices that start off. Changing a choice sends nothing. • Ask AI sends only the exact text you approve, through the Custodis relay, after you choose Send. Values you keep hidden are sent as placeholders; values you choose to show are included. • The record that links placeholders to real values does not leave the device. • Custodis Files has no automatic cloud sync. Deleting app data or uninstalling removes saved files. • Google Play's "Financial info" label refers to your subscription status. Custodis does not receive card or bank details. • Optional Android usage sharing starts off. If you allow it, Custodis receives app actions, plan/checkout results, minute-level times, app/Android versions, phone/tablet and installer categories, broad referral source and a random usage ID to improve the app and measure campaigns. It includes no document content or advertising ID. Turn it off to stop sharing, clear queued events and request deletion of shared usage data. Server events expire after 30 days; hourly cleanup removes expired rows. • Insurance and veterinary document packs download on first use, about 183 MB each.
