Clearception Genome

Hear it. Capture it. Describe it. Play it. Clearception Genome turns the sounds around you into instruments. Record a subway door closing, a kettle, a bell, your own voice. Genome measures its pitch, harmonics, resonance and transients and builds a playable instrument from it. Then tell it what the sound should become: a bass, a pad, a lead, a bell, percussion, a drone, or something new. CAPTURE ANYTHING • Capture: one big button. Listen, analyze, design, play. • Field Recorder: 24-bit / 48 kHz takes, stereo and USB audio interfaces, markers, trimming, silence removal, normalization, loop and transient detection, pitch identification and a suggested gain. • Sound Scanner: live pitch, harmonics, brightness, resonances, dynamics, noise and texture, then Create From Sound. The scan is analyzed on your phone; the audio itself is never uploaded. • Genome Lens and Camera Sampler: point the camera at rain, machinery, glass or a forest. The picture becomes creative context for a new sound, never the sound itself, and it is not stored. • Genome Voice: describe a sound out loud. "Deep bass, organic and slightly unstable." DESIGN WITH WORDS, NOT MENUS The Sound Modeler proposes instruments (their character, their layers, how they move, and eight macros), and you audition each one before you keep it. AI designs the instrument; deterministic DSP plays it, so a sound plays the same on your phone, in your DAW and on your desktop. PLAY AND PERFORM • An expressive MPE-style keyboard: slide for pitch, press for pressure, move for timbre. • XY performance pad and eight macro controls. • Arpeggiator, chord mode with chord memory, and scale lock. • Genome Morph: pick two sounds and drag between them, then save the result as a new instrument. • Genome Jam: an 8-track pattern sequencer with drum pads, probability, Euclidean rhythms, swing and scenes.
