Aware Access

Aware makes your town's public meetings accessible on your phone — no account, ever. Watch meeting videos with captions and a synchronized, tappable transcript that follows along as it plays. Read plain-language AI summaries of what actually happened, open the official documents (agendas, minutes, resolutions), and search inside everything your town has published — transcripts, summaries and documents. FOR EVERY RESIDENT • Pick and follow multiple towns — all on your device, no login • Video with closed captions, an audio-description track, and a full synchronized transcript • Tap any transcript timestamp to jump the video there • Plain-language topic summaries for each agenda item • Deep per-town search that shows you exactly where a match is • Ask questions about your town's meetings and get answers with sources (where enabled) • Share a timestamped moment, or save a meeting to watch offline • A weekly digest and 90-second story recaps to catch up fast • Get notified when a town you follow posts a new meeting (where enabled) BUILT FOR ACCESSIBILITY Aware is a government-accessibility product, built to WCAG 2.2 AA using native VoiceOver/TalkBack support, Dynamic Type, and Reduce Motion. Captions, audio description, and the synchronized transcript are first-class features — not settings you have to hunt for. PRIVACY No accounts. No tracking across apps. The app collects only anonymous, non-identifying product usage to improve the experience, and you can turn even that off in About. Everything you follow and save stays on your device.
