WHAT IT DOES • Find yourself. GPS puts you on the map with an accuracy circle, so you can start from where you are standing rather than hunting for the field. • Draw the block. Trace the boundary with a finger and drag a corner to adjust it. • Read it. AGER fetches the latest clear satellite image and paints NDVI canopy vigour — straight onto your field, and tells you the date it was taken and how much of the block was cloud-free. • Look back. Swipe today's canopy against the same field 2, 4 or 8 weeks ago — or a whole year ago. Seeing this August against last August is the comparison growers actually ask for. • Track the season. It also adds four more indices — red-edge stress (NDRE), enhanced vigour (EVI), canopy chlorophyll (CCCI) and bare soil (BSI) — on both the graphs and the map, plus temperature, rainfall, reference ET and crop water use for each field.
