TakeOver turns your Android phone into a wireless remote, trackpad, and second screen for your own computer. Pair your phone with your Windows PC (macOS and Linux rolling out) over Wi-Fi and control it from anywhere in the house — no cables, no account, no cloud. Every device you connect must be approved with a tap on the PC and a one-time pairing code, and everything travels directly between your own devices, protected by end-to-end AES-256 encryption. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Remote control — use your phone as a wireless trackpad and keyboard, with multi-finger gestures, scrolling, pinch-to-zoom and drag. • Screen mirroring — see your PC screen live on your phone in crisp H.264 video and control it by touch. Bandwidth adjusts automatically for a smooth picture. • File sharing — send photos, folders and files between your phone and PC, or between any two of your own paired devices, in a single tap. Browse your PC's files, open them, or download them. • Phone as a webcam & mic — turn your phone's camera into a high-quality PC webcam and its microphone into a PC mic for calls and streaming. • Phone as a gamepad — use your phone as a full Xbox-style controller for PC games, with on-screen buttons or motion controls. • Media & audio — play, pause and skip tracks, adjust your PC's speaker and mic volume, and listen to your PC's audio on your phone. • Presentation remote — advance slides and use your phone as a motion air-mouse. • Private messaging & calls — chat and make voice and video calls between your own paired devices. • Extra screen — use your phone as an additional wireless display for your PC. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • You approve every device — connections are gated by an Allow/Deny prompt on your PC and a one-time pairing code. • End-to-end encrypted with AES-256. Traffic goes directly between your devices — no account, no sign-up, nothing stored in the cloud. • You stay in control — see all your paired devices in one place, and rename, block or unpair any of them at any time. • Camera viewing always requires on-device consent.
