Let's Walk is the volunteer companion app for our senior walking program. Charleston's Let's Walk pairs adult volunteers with senior neighbors for regular companion walks. This app is how our volunteers record those walks and keep track of the people they walk with. WHAT YOU CAN DO • See the clients you're paired with, pulled from our program's records. • Start a walk and let the app map your route, distance, and time automatically. • Keep going with the screen off — the walk keeps recording in your pocket, with an ongoing notification showing your progress. • Review every walk you've logged under your history. WHO IT'S FOR Let's Walk is provided to approved program volunteers. Signing in requires being on our volunteer roster — if you'd like to become a volunteer, visit letswalk.us. YOUR PRIVACY Location is used only while a walk is active, to draw the route and measure distance — never when you're not recording a walk, and never for advertising or tracking. You can delete your account and data from Profile → Account at any time. Questions? Reach us at [email protected].

What's new

Help and contact, improved: • Help & Support in your Profile now opens an email to the Let's Walk team. Before, tapping it did nothing. • The Become a Volunteer screen now shows an email address and a phone number, so you can reach someone before your account is set up. • If Location is turned off, the walk screen now has an Open Settings shortcut to switch it back on. • Removed a storage permission the app no longer needs.
