Hollywood Regency Kitchen

"The Hollywood Regency conquered the world in the 1920s when everyone aspired to achieve the look of opulence and live the life of a movie star. From tuft sofas and modern fretwork patterns to furniture silhouettes influenced by Greeks and Egyptians, Hollywood royalty invaded every American home. Many designers have responded to the occasion by adding their personal touch, be it a modern version of the classic style or a more recent variant. Designers often used a selection of patterns, furniture, and techniques to achieve an eclectic Hollywood look. Houses in the 1970s were known for their healthy dose of patterns, to put it nicely, because of their high level of colors and color combinations. After decades with many faces, the Hollywood Regency became a symbol of Hollywood's far-reaching modernity style. Famous modern designers who stamped on the form included John Redding, David Bowie, and the late, great John Lennon. While the names Dorothy Draper and William Haines gave it its first golden run, modern designers such as Kelly Wearstler offered sparkling new variations on this timeless theme. Taking style risks has never been a problem for Hollywood Regency designers, as they create glamorous habitats for celebrities and lovers. A quick look through the listing photos shows us some of Hollywood's most stylish regency kitchens from the late 20th century. The decade in which the decorators of the 1940s refreshed the dark and tired style of the era. Baroque and regent styles were modernized and softened and simplified by bold and often feminine color schemes that simplified them to create a more modern and contemporary look for the contemporary home. The Hollywood Regency style combines sophistication with an evolving style to give the house a touch of luxurious elegance, and it is a symbol of a bygone era. In the early 20th century, the Regencies style was born in the homes of Hollywood celebrities such as George Clooney, Marilyn Monroe, Robert De Niro, and Robert Redford."
