FOBI

FOBI is the official digital judging system for Barongsai (lion dance) and Wushu-Taolu competitions — built to replace paper scoresheets with fast, accurate, real-time scoring. DESIGNED FOR EVERY ROLE ON THE PANEL FOBI supports every judge role in a sanctioned competition: • Side Judges — score technical criteria live during a routine • Penalty Judges — issue colour-coded penalty cards (green, yellow, black, red) with automatic deduction weighting • Apparatus Judges — record equipment-related deductions • Timer Judges — track routine duration and time-based deductions • Taolu Judges — score Wushu-Taolu routines against official criteria • Head Judges — review the panel's combined results, apply the trimmed-mean rule for large panels, and issue final overrides • Admins — manage competitions, teams and assignments from one dashboard ACCURATE, TRANSPARENT SCORING Every score is calculated using the official formula: gross score, penalty deductions, apparatus and time penalties combine into a clean net score. Disqualification rules are enforced automatically, and head judges can see a full breakdown before finalising results — no more manual tallying or arithmetic errors under time pressure. REAL-TIME RESULTS Scores sync the moment a judge submits them. Head judges and admins see live standings update across the whole panel, so results are ready the second the last score comes in. BUILT FOR COMPETITION DAY • Simple, role-based login — each judge only sees the tools they need • Works on tablets and phones courtside • Clear score history and audit trail for every team and round • Designed with input from real competition judges and organisers Whether you're running a small regional Barongsai tournament or a full multi-day Wushu-Taolu championship, FOBI keeps scoring fast, consistent, and fair
