AUDIO SERVICES Radheef Dictionary App plays audio in three ways: recorded pronunciations of dictionary words, spoken narration on information and article pages, and long-form audio recordings and lectures in the app's Library section. MEDIA PLAYBACK is used so that Library recordings and page narration continue while the screen is off or the user moves to another app, with standard play, pause and stop controls in the notification shade and on the lock screen. Playback is always started by the user tapping a play or speaker control, is shown in an ongoing media notification for as long as it runs, and stops when the user stops it or the audio ends. No audio is captured or recorded, and nothing plays without the user starting it. BUILT FOR DHIVEHI, NOT TRANSLATED INTO IT The app reads right to left throughout, with typography chosen for Thaana rather than borrowed from a Latin layout. Alongside the Dhivehi keyboard you can switch on English and Arabic keyboards from settings, and keep the ones you don't use out of the way. Radheef is free to use and carries no advertising.
