Stressed by her mission, she only reveals her true self to you. ■ Pearl Pearl is a jellyfish and Isla’s handmaid. She adores humans and is fascinated by anything made by them—especially Jello. Though she loves serving Isla, her clumsiness often causes trouble. She follows Isla to the human world, determined to prove her worth. ■ Delta Delta is a killer whale and Isla’s devoted bodyguard. Calm and mature on the surface, she becomes easily flustered when Isla is involved. Fiercely loyal to her role, Delta begins to question her own identity and future as she experiences life among humans.
