BringIt is a peer-to-peer delivery app for items that are too big for the post office and too small /expensive for a moving company. What you can do in the App For people shipping an item: - Post a shipment: describe the item, its size and weight, pickup and delivery and addresses, and your dates - Review drivers who are already traveling your route and see driver’s rating and trip history - See the full price before you accept it including the driver’s take-home amount plus the platform and processing fees, shown as one total - Add a payment method and pay securely in the app; a deposit is charged at match and the balance at proof of delivery - Track your item on a live map, with pickup and delivery photos posted by the driver - Message the driver, the pickup person and the recipient in the app - Rate the driver after delivery For drivers, - Post a trip you are already taking, with your available space and dates - Get matched to shipment requests along that route, or browse open requests near your route - See your net take-home pay for every job before you accept - Capture pickup and delivery photos and collect a digital signature as Proof of Delivery - Connect a payout account and follow each payment in an earnings history For Recipients and Pickup helper, - Accept a delivery by link, confirm pickup or drop off details, and opt-in to text updates How A Delivery Works 1. The Requestor posts an item and a route 2. Drivers heading that way get matched, or claim the request 3. The Requestor picks a driver and pays in the app 4. The driver photographs the item at pickup & delivery and posts written updates along the way 5. Proof of delivery photo and signature are gathered at delivery. This completes the delivery and then funds are traded to the driver Also in the App - Miles, the app-assistant, answers questions about pricing, trips, payments by text or voice - Trip incident records and a claims center for issues after a delivery - Referral program for drivers and requesters
