Full description
ProcessFloor replaces the paper heat log sheet at the furnace. Operators record each melt cycle on a phone or tablet as it happens, check the figures the machine reported, and pass closed heats to a supervisor for approval. The whole shift works from one record instead of a register that is copied up at the end of the day. ProcessFloor is sold to manufacturing organisations. You need an account from your organisation's administrator to use the app; there is no public sign-up. THE FLOOR • Your plant laid out by shop, with each machine as a tile • Machine status in words: Running, Idle, No signal or Manual entry • Latest readings on each tile, plus the open heat and how long it has been running • Heats today, metal today, average yield and kWh per tonne at the top of the screen • Filter by shop, or switch to your plant's floor plan with machines pinned on it HEAT RECORDS FOR MELTING Tap a furnace in a melting shop to start a heat or open the one in progress. Each heat keeps: • Heat number, grade, shift, start time and tap time • Charge lines: material, weight, stage and lot reference • Samples from a C/Si analyser or spectrometer, with the grade's spec range shown as you enter each element, and chemistry marked pass or fail against it • Pours by ladle, with metal weight and temperature • Output by product: pieces, good, returns and rejects • Downtime with a reason, minutes lost and a note Charge total, yield % and kWh per tonne are worked out from what has been recorded. The heat moves through draft, charging, melting, sampling, tapping and closed. MACHINE FIGURES, CHECKED BY A PERSON Where a furnace is connected at your plant, its energy, charge weight, tap temperature and heat time arrive with the heat. The operator verifies each figure or corrects it. A corrected figure is marked as corrected and the machine's original value stays visible beneath it. A heat cannot be closed until every machine figure has been checked. Machines without a connection are entered by hand on the same screen. SUPERVISOR APPROVAL Supervisors see closed heats in an Approve list and either approve them or send them back to the operator. An approved heat is read-only. OTHER SHOPS Shops that do not run heats are monitoring-only. Open a machine to see its live values with the time of each reading, and log downtime against it. KEEPS WORKING WHEN THE NETWORK DROPS Entries made offline are saved on the device and sent when the connection returns. Screens you have already opened stay available from the copy on the device. Settings shows what is waiting to send, and lets you retry or discard anything the server could not accept. MADE FOR THE SHOP FLOOR • Large on-screen number keypad for entry with gloves on • Status always written out, not shown by colour alone • Layouts for phones and tablets Machine readings are collected by equipment your organisation installs at the plant and sent to its server. The app itself does not connect to machines, and it does not control or send commands to any machine. Support: https://processfloor.in/support/
