TinyRail

TinyRail runs the electrics of your camper or van from your phone, over direct Bluetooth. No Wi-Fi, no home-automation hub, no account to create. One TinyRail board switches eight 12 or 24 V outputs and measures the current of each. Two or three boards chain together for sixteen or twenty-four outputs, and the app drives them at the same time, as a single installation. You open it, you see the state of everything, you act. CONTROL • Switch, dim and set every output. • Name your outputs and give them a type — lighting, pump, fridge, fan, socket — which adapts the display and the controls. • Compose your own pages: gather on one screen the outputs of one place, or the ones you use together. • Switch everything off before you leave, with one tap — across every board at once. MEASURE • The current each output actually draws, updating while you act. • Bus voltage, board temperature, the state of your inputs. • A history kept by the board itself, up to twelve months, which the app retrieves without any server involved. PROTECT • An overcurrent threshold per output: the board cuts before the fuse does. • Automatic shutdown, load shedding, board thermal protection. • Alerts when an input leaves its bounds: battery voltage, water level, temperature. MAINTAIN • Update the board's firmware from your phone, over Bluetooth, with no computer and no network. • Manage several installations — the van, the boat, the workshop — and move between them. • Export and import your configuration, to back it up or carry it to another board. NO NETWORK, NO ACCOUNT, NO SERVER Everything goes through a direct link between your phone and your board. Nothing to connect, nothing to sign up for, and nothing that stops working the day you are out of coverage. Your settings and your readings stay with you. TRY IT WITHOUT A BOARD The app includes a full demonstration: a simulated installation, with readings that move, where every function can be used. You can see it all before buying anything. OPEN The board also works with ESPHome and Home Assistant, for anyone who wants to fold it into a home-automation setup. The app does not need one, and stays useful even when that setup is in place.
