La Dra. Azucena García Palacios, es investigadora en el Laboratorio de Psicología y Tecnología, de la Universidad Jaume I de Castellón. Una de sus áreas de investigación es el dolor crónico. Esta aplicación está destinada a investigar cómo influye el dolor en la vida diaria de las personas que sufren dolor oncológico y forma parte de un proyecto de investigación llevado a cabo por la Universidad Jaume I de Castellón junto con la unidad de oncología del Hospital Provincial de Castellón. Te preguntaremos DURANTE 30 DÍAS (una vez por la mañana y otra por la tarde) unas breves preguntas relacionadas con el dolor. Sólo tardarás 2 minutos en contestarlas. Además nos gustaría monitorizar cómo te sientes cuando tengas un episodio de dolor agudo. Cuando esto suceda, entra en la aplicación y responde a las preguntas.Todos los datos que nos proporciones servirán para avanzar en el conocimiento que tenemos del dolor crónico y buscar maneras de mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas que lo sufren. Descargando esta aplicación aceptas participar en este estudio de forma ANÓNIMA. Si deseas participar en otras investigaciones o quieres recibir información sobre los resultados de esta investigación, puedes escribirnos a [email protected] La selección del contenido de esta APP ha sido realizada siguiendo las recomendaciones de la Iniciativa sobre Métodos, Medidas, y Evaluación del Dolor en Ensayos Clínicos (Initiative on Methods, Measurement, and Pain Assessment in Clinical Trials, IMMPACT) y siguiendo un abordaje biopsicosocial del dolor. Este material ha sido utilizado sin ánimo lucrativo, para fines de investigación y se ampara por tanto, a todos los efectos, a lo previsto por el artículo 37 de la Ley española 22/1987 de Propiedad Intelectual. El contenido original de la App Monitor de Dolor, fue creado por consenso con expertos en dolor del grupo de investigación Labpsitec (Universidad Jaume I) y de la Unidad de Dolor del Hospital Vall d'Hebron y su validación ha sido publicada en The Clinical Journal of Pain. Su adaptación para evaluar el dolor irruptivo oncológico se ha realizado con el apoyo del Hospital Provincial de Castellón, después de una serie de reuniones con el equipo de oncología, en las que se llegó a un acuerdo sobre qué variables añadir o modificar para adaptar su contenido al dolor irruptivo oncológico.
