Full description
sunnyconf connects to your sunnypilot (openpilot) device over your own WiFi network and gives you full control of it — no internet, no accounts, no cloud. WHAT IT DOES • Every setting, live — the app renders the settings menu from the schema your device itself serves. When your fork adds a new toggle, it appears in the app automatically, no update needed. Settings that require the car to be parked lock while driving, exactly like on the device. • Drives — browse your recorded routes with an engagement timeline, watch the video segment by segment, see the route on the map, switch between road, wide and driver cameras. • Clips — cut a fragment of any drive from any camera and save or share it right from your phone. The video never leaves your WiFi. • Backup and restore — one tap saves every setting (including the selected car, driving model, offline map regions and SSH keys) to a file. After reinstalling the device, restore it: the car and model are re-selected, maps re-download in the background, and you get an itemized report of what came back. • Offline maps, model selection, device actions (reboot, calibration reset and more) — all local. • Automatic device discovery on your network and simple PIN pairing: the code is set on the device's own screen, so only someone with physical access to it can pair. REQUIREMENTS This app is a companion to a comma device running a sunnypilot fork with the sunnyconf daemon installed. Setting the device side up takes about five minutes and is described here: https://github.com/Falseclock/sunnyconf The app is open source: https://github.com/Falseclock/sunnyconf-app PRIVACY No data collection, no analytics, no ads, no servers. All traffic stays between your phone and your device on your local network. The only external requests are OpenStreetMap tiles for the route map. sunnyconf is an independent open-source project and is not affiliated with comma.ai or the sunnypilot team.
