Full description
Find a public restroom near you in Korea, in English. Korea Toilet opens straight to a map of nearby restrooms, so you do not have to search when you are in a hurry. Find one fast • The map opens on your location. More than 18,000 public restrooms from Korean government open data are built in. • Cards along the bottom list the nearest restrooms first, with an estimated walking time, whether each one is open now and its rating. • Tap Directions for walking directions in Google Maps, Naver Map or KakaoMap, or set one as your default. • Filter by Open now, Accessible or Baby changing. Clean 4.0+ keeps restrooms with an average rating of 4.0 or more from at least three travelers. No code hides restrooms that travelers reported as needing a code or other permission to enter. Know before you walk • Open now is checked against Korea time, even if your phone is still on home time. • See amenities such as accessible toilets, baby changing tables, emergency bells and CCTV. • Some Seoul subway station restrooms also show whether they are inside the ticket gate, which floor they are on and the nearest exit. Door codes from other travelers • Some restrooms in Korea are locked with a door code. Travelers can share the code in the app. • See how many people confirmed that a code worked, and how many days ago. Codes that keep getting marked as not working are hidden. • No code yet? Show staff a ready-made Korean phrase that asks for it. Rate it in one tap • After you use Directions to reach a restroom, the app offers a quick rating when you come back. Tap a star and it is saved. • Add whether you needed a code, what was there (toilet paper, soap, bidet and more), a photo or a short tip if you want. • No account needed. Ratings are posted anonymously. Saved and recent • Save the restrooms you like and find recently viewed ones in the Saved tab. Both are kept on your device. Four languages • English, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified) and Korean. Restroom names and map labels are translated where available; the rest stay in Korean. What works offline • The restroom list, search and the Open now, Accessible and Baby changing filters work without internet anywhere in Korea. • The Seoul map is built into the app, so the map itself also works offline in Seoul. Outside Seoul the map background needs an internet connection; restroom pins and the list still work. • Ratings, door codes and photos need a connection. About the data Restroom locations, hours and amenities come from Korean public open data published by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the Seoul Metropolitan Government, Seoul Metro and several local governments (data as of September 2026). Coverage is best in Seoul; some regions have fewer listed restrooms. Hours and details can change, so check on site. Korea Toilet is an independent app and is not affiliated with any government agency.
