Sparring Timer – Your Flexible Timer for Training and Sparring Sparring Timer is a versatile training timer for martial arts, Tabata, HIIT and interval training. Whether you train BJJ, MMA, boxing, kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, judo, wrestling, Muay Thai or fitness: configure your workout and focus on the next round. Flexible Round Timer and Quick Setup • Set the round time, break time and number of rounds • Enter values using +/− or the keyboard • Use Quick Setup directly from the home screen • Save settings automatically Custom Training Plans Create workouts from rounds, exercises and breaks. Each section can have its own name, duration and number of repetitions. Sections can be edited, duplicated, moved, deleted and combined into repeat blocks. During training, the app shows what comes next. Exercises can be announced five seconds before they begin in the selected app language. You can select an available voice installed on your device. Background, text and outline colors can be customized separately for each section. Examples to Get You Started Example presets and plans such as BJJ sessions, HIIT Full Body 40/20, Full Body Circuit and Running Drills can be used immediately or customized. Controls During Training Return to the home screen while a timer continues running and switch back to the full-screen display at any time. “Next” completes the current section early. “Reset” restarts it, while “End” finishes the workout with the final signal. Controls are also available from the notification. Random Mode The duration of each round is selected randomly within a defined minimum and maximum time – ideal for varied training sessions. Presets Save frequently used timer configurations. Presets can be created, selected, updated, renamed and deleted. Confirmation dialogs help protect presets and training plans from accidental changes. Custom Countdowns Separate countdowns can be configured or disabled for the start of training, rounds and breaks. They apply to both the round timer and training plans. Sounds, Volume and Vibration • Enable or disable signals • Adjust the volume • Use built-in or custom sounds • Select sounds for round start, round end, countdown and workout completion • Enable vibration signals Music Control The app can briefly lower the volume of other audio apps while playing its signals. Optionally, music can be paused when training is paused or ended and resumed later. Notification access must be granted once in Android. Custom Appearance • Choose colors for the start, rounds, exercises and breaks • Set separate text and outline colors • Disable outlines • Restore the default colors Custom Background Logo Display a club or team logo in the background during training. Its visibility can be adjusted, and the logo can be replaced or removed. On Android TV, the logo can be transferred from a phone using a QR code. Both devices must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. For Smartphones, Tablets and Android TV Controls and full-screen displays are optimized for smartphones and tablets in portrait and landscape orientation. Android TV supports remote controls, clear focus frames and navigation using the direction and OK buttons. German and English The app is available in German and English. The language can be selected through Android’s app language settings. Reliable During Training The timer continues running when the screen is locked or another app is opened. Audio works through device speakers, Bluetooth speakers and headphones. Set it once. Start training. Focus on the next round.
