Optimise is a digital exercise app designed to support patients completing clinician-prescribed exercise programmes as part of their peri-operative care. Following clinical assessment, a healthcare professional prescribes an appropriate exercise programme. Optimise gives patients access to their prescribed sessions through a simple mobile interface, helping structured exercise continue beyond the traditional clinical environment. When used with compatible Bluetooth-enabled exercise equipment, Optimise can connect directly with the equipment to help guide the prescribed exercise session and record exercise data. Session information can be securely transferred to the Optimise clinical platform, giving healthcare teams information to support review of programme participation and performance. Optimise can support: • Clinician-prescribed exercise programmes • Prehabilitation and rehabilitation • Structured exercise at home or in the community • Compatible Bluetooth-enabled exercise equipment • Recording of exercise-session data • Review of participation and performance by clinical teams • Continuity between hospital, community and home-based care Clinician-led exercise Optimise does not independently prescribe exercise and is not a replacement for clinical assessment, professional medical advice or clinical supervision where required. Healthcare professionals appropriately qualified prescribe exercise programmes based on the individual patient’s clinical assessment. Patients should use Optimise only in accordance with the exercise programme and instructions provided by their healthcare team. Optimise is intended for use with the Optimise clinical platform and compatible exercise equipment. Access may require registration or activation by a participating healthcare provider.
