Know — and be able to prove — what gold your family owns. Bills are in a drawer, photos are in a cloud gallery, and the locker number is in one person's head. Tijori puts it all in one register that only you can open. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No Tijori account, no sign-up, no server of ours. Your register stays on your phone. • Lock the app with your fingerprint, face or phone PIN. • Photos taken in Tijori are stored inside the app, not in your gallery, so they are not uploaded by gallery backup. • Back up to a file you keep, or automatically every day to your own Google Drive. Tijori only gets its own hidden folder there. • Lost your phone? Restore everything on the new one from your backup. • The internet is used for Google Drive backup only, and only if you turn it on. RECORD EVERY PIECE • Jewellery, gold and silver coins and bars, loose stones, and other articles. • Add a piece in under a minute: photo, name, metal, weight and owner are enough to save. Fill in the rest when you find the bill. • Purity as marked (22K, 18K, 916, 750, 999, 925) and hallmark details, including India's BIS hallmark and HUID. • Gross, net and stone weight, exactly as printed on the bill. • Craft style: filigree, temple, kundan, polki, meenakari and more. KNOW WHERE IT IS • Location for every piece: home, bank locker, with a relative, with the jeweller. • Pledged for a gold loan? Record the lender, amount, interest rate and due date. • Lent for a wedding? Record who has it and when it is due back. KEEP THE PROOF • Jeweller, tax number, invoice number, rate of the day, making charges, tax and total paid. • Amounts in your own currency: rupees, dirhams, riyals, dollars and more. • Photograph the bill and the hallmark. • Old-gold exchange: the weight and amount credited. • Stones one by one: natural, synthetic or imitation; carats or size; certificate number. • Bridal sets bought on one bill: enter the bill once and every piece shares it. FOR FAMILIES IN INDIA: A SAFE-HARBOR METER Under India's CBDT Instruction No. 1916, officers are told not to seize gold jewellery up to 500 g for a married woman, 250 g for an unmarried woman and 100 g for a man during a search. Tijori adds up each family member's gold and shows how close they are to that amount. It warns you only when someone is over the amount and has pieces with no proof recorded, and tells you which proof to look for: a bill, a gift deed or a will.
