Full description

A calm, private phone for someone you love — and quiet peace of mind for the family. Wave turns a smartphone into one warm, unhurried screen: the faces of family, a gentle check-in, today's plan, and help the moment it's needed. No feeds, no clutter, no tiny buttons. And nothing leaves the phone unless they choose it — they tap, family hears from them. FOR THE PERSON HOLDING THE PHONE Tap a face to call — up to six people, big photos and big names. One tap starts the call, with a short countdown so a shaky hand can't misdial. Family sets it up in minutes from the phone's own contacts. "I'm okay today" — one big button sends a little reassurance to the people they choose. A gentle reminder can nudge them every day, every few days, or not at all. Today's plan — morning pills, tea with a friend, the doctor at three: big, clear, in order. It can fill itself from a shared family calendar the family keeps up from their own phones. "I need help" — reaches a real person right away. A true emergency-services call is always gated behind a calm "are you sure?", so a mistaken tap never dials by accident. FREE TO DOWNLOAD. THE PERSON YOU LOVE NEVER PAYS. Wave is free to install and free for them to use, always. Warm, bright design with big type, made for older eyes. The app never acts on its own — every call and message starts with the person holding the phone. Wave — to the people you love.

What's new

• Leave the circle yourself, from your own phone. • Uses less battery and data in the background. • Only the guardian manages the circle. • Check-ins and help alerts retry automatically if sending fails. • A late help alert tells your circle when you pressed it. • Reminders ring all week, even if you don't open Wave. • The help button dials the right emergency number in more places. • Your location goes only in the text you send, never to Wave.
