Full description
Vinyl Logbook is a vinyl hour tracker for collectors who want to know how many hours each stylus and cartridge has played so that they can replace the needle in time. Track the playing time of vinyl records with a live timer or add sessions manually. Set limits for each cartridge and see how close you are to reaching them. Optionally link albums to your listening sessions with Discogs. WHO IS IT FOR Vinyl collectors who want to take care of their styluses People who have one turntable or many cartridges Discogs users who want to keep track of their listens and have an offline experience KEY FEATURES - Vinyl hour tracker with a live listening timer (start, pause, resume, stop) - Manual session logging - Multiple cartridges support - Progress to the limit and notifications - Optional Discogs authorization and collection synchronization - Searchable full-screen album picker and barcode scanner to identify releases - Play counts, listening History, and My records with sort and format options - Add, edit, or delete past listenings (date, duration, cartridge, note) WHY SHOULD I TRACK HOURS ON MY VINYL RECORDS Stylus lifetime is usually between 500 and 1000 hours of playback. Counting hours helps you keep track of how much each needle has been used, compare different styluses, and know when to change them so that your vinyl collection stays undamaged. A vinyl hour tracker is much more convenient than trying to estimate how long a cartridge has been in use. HOW TO GET STARTED - Set up a cartridge and specify its hour limit - Start the timer when you begin listening to a record or add a session manually - Optionally, connect Discogs and sync your collection - Track the progress of each stylus, your listening history, and get notified when you are close to the limit
