Full description
The Bhagavad Gita, in its most accessible form. All 700 verses of the Bhagavad Gita in plain English. Each verse comes with the story behind it and what it means for your day. You can start anywhere. You don't need to believe anything or know anything first. The Gita is a conversation on a battlefield. Arjuna, a warrior, does not know what to do, and his friend Krishna talks him through it. If you are new to it, The Gita Explained tells you the whole story in twelve short pieces before you read a single verse. You get one verse every morning. It takes ten seconds to read and comes with its meaning. There are no streaks and no pressure, and you can turn it off whenever you like. The world around the Gita is here too. The Mahabharata, the epic the Gita comes from, is told in 200 tales of 100 words each. You can see how the Bhagavad Gita travelled across the world and through Indian life, and find the teachers, talks, and books to go deeper with. The reader works in light or dark. No account needed to start.
