Full description
Tallyist counts drinks. That is the whole job. One tap on the plus records a drink. Five taps are five tick marks, like a napkin, except this napkin does charts. A drink can also carry a type, a size, a strength and a time, when a day is worth that much detail. A day with no alcohol is its own record, written in one tap, or across a stretch of the calendar in one drag. What's in the app: • Today. The day's drinks, newest first, every row open for editing. • Calendar. A month or a whole year, each day shaded by how much it held. Days with drinks, days with none, the total, and the average on days you drank. • Trends. Totals by day, week or month. Dragging across the bars reads one bucket at a time. • Comparisons. Your weekly average set beside published survey figures for US adults who drink. Dated, sourced, descriptive. Not data from other Tallyist users. • By weekday. Where drinks fall across your own week, beside a published national rate. • Share cards. A month, a year, or a year in review, exported as an image when you want one and never otherwise. • A home screen widget with today's count and a plus. • Regions. A standard drink is 14 g in the United States, 8 g in the United Kingdom, 10 g in Australia. The setting changes how totals are expressed, never what was logged. • Light, dark, or the system's choice. No consumption guidelines and no medical advice. The comparison figures are published population statistics, not thresholds. No ads. No analytics. No crash reporting. No AI. No notifications of any kind. Privacy No account is required. Tallyist asks for no sign-in, and has no permission to use the internet. Your log is stored on this device, and in your own Android backup if you use one. That backup belongs to your Google account. The developer never receives it and cannot read it. Nothing is shared with other users, in any form, ever.

What's new

The dashed line now names its scale: daily, weekly or monthly. • Quarter and Year gain a filter beside the line's name: bars by day or week, and by month at Year. • Comparisons appear once the log spans 28 days, with bars for days with a drink next to published figures for US adults.
