StepCharge Live

StepCharge helps you use your phone less by linking screen time to movement. Tired of endless scrolling? StepCharge lets you protect distracting apps and only use them when you've earned it — by walking. HOW IT WORKS 🚶 Walk to unlock Choose apps you want to gate. When you try to open them, StepCharge blocks access until you walk enough steps to unlock. ⏱️ Earn time for scroll apps For apps like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Snapchat, earn usage time as you walk — 1 step = 1 second. Time drains while the app is open, so you keep moving to keep scrolling. 🛡️ Background protection Turn on Protection and StepCharge runs in the background, monitoring which app is open and enforcing your rules even when you're not in the app. ✨ YOU CONTROL THE RULES • Pick which apps to protect • Choose walk-to-unlock or earn-time mode per app • Set buffer time before apps lock again • See your step count and protection status at a glance PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED StepCharge needs a few Android permissions to work: • Usage access — detect when a protected app is open • Activity recognition — count your steps • Display over other apps — show block screen and timer • Notifications — keep protection running reliably All data stays on your device. We don't collect or share your personal information. Start small. Walk more. Scroll less. Download StepCharge and take back your time — one step at a time.
