Sixfold: Turning Ring Gems Live

The ring turns. Plan for it. Sixfold is a puzzle on a 37-cell board of gems. After every third placement the whole outer ring of the board turns one step clockwise, carrying its gems past the ones inside. A merge that the turn sets off is a ring catch and scores triple. Place for where your gems will be, not where they are. HOW IT PLAYS Drag a gem or a pair of gems onto the board and rotate it to fit. Three or more connected gems of the same number merge into the next number up; bigger groups climb further, and one merge can set off the next. Numbers appear on gems by default, so you can follow every tier. Prefer gem cuts? Turn off Tile numbers in Me. THE LADDER HAS NO CEILING Reach a new highest gem and the gems more than five tiers below it are retired and leave the board, so there is room to keep climbing. FOUR POWERS, ALL EARNED IN PLAY Surge, charged by cascades, lifts every lowest gem one tier. Counter-turn, earned by ring catches, turns the ring one step back. Pluck, earned by new high gems, swaps a board gem into your hand. Rewind, earned by retiring tiers, undoes your last placement. You also begin Endless with a small stock of each.
