Xlock – EMI Device Management for Lenders & Financiers Xlock is a device management solution built for financial institutions, NBFCs, and retailers that finance mobile devices on EMI (installment) plans. It helps lending partners protect their assets and stay in control of financed devices — while giving customers a transparent, consent-based experience. Xlock is enrolled on a device only as part of a financing agreement, with the customer's knowledge and consent, at the time of purchase. KEY FEATURES 📱 Device Enrollment & Ownership Enroll financed devices under secure Device Owner management at the point of sale, linking each device to its loan/EMI account. 🔒 EMI Compliance Lock If an EMI payment is missed, the device can be automatically restricted to essential functions until payment is regularized — helping reduce default risk for lending partners. 💳 Payment Status Sync Real-time sync of payment status between the lender's system and the device, so restrictions lift automatically the moment a payment is confirmed. 📍 Asset Location & Recovery Helps locate and recover financed devices in cases of default, supporting lenders' asset-recovery process. 🌐 Network & Wi-Fi Controls Manage connectivity settings on enrolled devices to keep them reachable for status checks and compliance sync, even during a restricted state. 👨‍👩‍👧 Optional Parental / Usage Controls For eligible programs, includes optional screen-time and app-usage tools that can be enabled with user consent. 🛡️ Factory Reset Protection Helps prevent unauthorized factory resets from removing device management, protecting the lender's asset until the loan is settled. WHO IS THIS FOR Xlock is intended for use by financial institutions, retail financing partners, and their authorized dealers — not for individual consumers to install on devices they do not own or manage under a financing agreement. PRIVACY & TRANSPARENCY Xlock only activates management features that are disclosed as part of the device financing agreement. Customers can view their device's compliance status at any time. All data is transmitted securely and used solely for loan servicing and asset protection purposes.
