Full description
Singularity turns your home screen into a window on deep space. A black hole drifts slowly across a living starfield, bending the light of the stars, and your clock and apps, as it passes. To open the settings, double-tap anywhere on the sky, above your favorite apps. A CALM, MINIMAL HOME Just what you need: a large clock, the date, a small almanac and a row of favorite apps. No app drawer, no clutter. A LIVING SKY - The black hole wanders on its own and never follows quite the same path twice. - Its gravitational lens bends starlight in real time. When it passes over the clock or your icons, they curve, redden and slip into the dark. - Now and then, a distant merger sends a gravitational wave rippling through the stars, with a subtle haptic "chirp". - The almanac shows the Moon's phase and the next celestial event: new or full Moon, solstice, equinox, meteor shower peak, perihelion or aphelion. The sky follows the real Moon: fewer faint stars at full Moon, a deeper sky at new Moon. - Adjust the horizon, the lens, the photon ring, the spin and the drift, and turn on an optional accretion disk. HIGH GRAVITY: A PAUSE BEFORE DISTRACTING APPS Mark an app as "high gravity" and it no longer opens with a simple tap: hold it while a ring fills up, as if reaching escape velocity. Heavy apps sink into the row like weights on a stretched sheet, so you can spot them at a glance. An app you open very often (10 times) can become high gravity on its own, and you can always set it back. Launches are counted on your device only. FOCUS AND BREATHING - Pinch inward: the black hole swallows the clock and your apps, leaving only the sky. Set a duration and the accretion disk fades as time goes by. Tap to come back. - Pinch outward: the photon ring pulses on a 4-7-8 breathing rhythm, with gentle vibrations. The session ends by itself after five minutes. A WIDGET, ONLY WHEN YOU ASK Swipe down to pull a widget below the almanac; tap elsewhere or swipe up to put it away. To keep the look consistent, only widgets from apps designed in the same style are offered: currently Orbit, a to-do list app from the same developer. SMALL TOUCHES - Remove a favorite and it is pulled into the hole, stretched like a noodle. - Set the starry sky, without the black hole, as your home and lock screen wallpaper. - Put the favorites row on the left or on the right, for one-handed use. - Works on phones and tablets, in portrait and landscape. GENTLE ON YOUR BATTERY AND YOUR EYES The sky only moves while the home screen is visible. In battery saver mode it slows down and drops its heaviest effects. With "Remove animations" turned on, the black hole comes to rest in the center and the sky stands still. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Singularity has no Internet permission, no account, no ads and no tracking. Your favorites and settings stay on your device. Permissions: set wallpaper (for the starry sky button), vibrate (haptic feedback), request package deletion (to open Android's uninstall screen when you ask to uninstall an app). Requires Android 13 or later.

What's new

Fixed: a tap on your favorites could do nothing while the black hole passed over them. The lens bends the icons, and your touch now follows that bend: tap an icon where you see it and it opens.
