ShiftCal: Shift Work Calendar Live

ShiftCal is a clear shift work calendar and rota planner for nurses, carers, security staff, factory teams, emergency workers and anyone whose working week does not fit a Monday-to-Friday diary. Paint Day, Night, Off or Holiday onto a simple monthly calendar. Build a repeating work pattern, check upcoming shifts and keep your rota on your phone without creating an account. PLAN YOUR SHIFT ROTA • Tap dates to add or change day shifts, night shifts and days off. • Create common rotations such as 4 on 4 off or 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off. • Choose a start date and let ShiftCal repeat the pattern across future months. • Override one date for a swap without rebuilding the full rota. • Restore the underlying pattern or undo your latest calendar change. BOOK HOLIDAYS WITH CONTEXT • Mark one holiday or select an inclusive date range. • See work, rest and holiday dates together in the month view. • Keep the repeating rota underneath so it can be restored later. Holiday totals count calendar dates, including weekends and days off. ShiftCal does not connect to an employer, approve leave or calculate holiday entitlement or holiday pay. MADE FOR REAL SHIFT WORK Use ShiftCal as a nurse rota planner, night shift calendar, 4 on 4 off calendar or rotating shift tracker. Customise shift names, colours, start times, paid hours, unpaid breaks and hourly rates to match your schedule. OPTIONAL WIDGETS & PAY UPGRADE A separate one-time purchase unlocks: • An Android home-screen widget for upcoming shifts. • Monthly gross pay estimates based on scheduled paid time and your hourly rates. Pay figures are planning estimates before deductions. Tax, pension, overtime rules, allowances and employer payroll adjustments are not calculated. Overnight shifts belong to their start date. SEPARATE OVERTIME TRACKER Unlock the overtime log with its own one-time purchase. Record a date, title, duration and optional notes; edit or delete entries; search your log; filter by date; and total the matching overtime hours. The Overtime Tracker is sold separately from Widgets & Pay. It tracks hours and does not calculate overtime pay or add entries to regular-shift gross estimates. REMINDERS AND CALENDAR EXPORT Long-press a working date to set an optional local reminder. Send a selected shift to a compatible calendar app, review the details and choose whether to save it there. Reminder delivery can be affected by Android battery settings. Your chosen calendar app controls exported events and may sync them using its own service. PRIVATE, LOCAL-FIRST PLANNING Your rota, shift settings, rates and overtime notes stay in local app storage. ShiftCal has no app account and no developer-operated rota server. Everyday planning and previously unlocked tools work offline. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes local rota and overtime records. Purchases can be restored online through Google Play, but a purchase restore does not restore deleted local planning data. FREE WITH ADS — REMOVE THEM ONCE The free version includes Google-served banner ads and occasional full-screen ads at natural navigation breaks. A separate one-time Remove Ads purchase removes both formats. It does not unlock Widgets & Pay or the Overtime Tracker, which remain independent add-ons. Where required, ShiftCal asks for advertising consent before requesting ads and provides a way to revisit privacy choices. Ad availability varies; core calendar access is never conditional on an ad successfully loading. NO SUBSCRIPTIONS The calendar, tap-to-paint editing, repeating patterns and holiday planning are free. Widgets & Pay, Overtime Tracker and Remove Ads are optional, independent lifetime purchases shown at their current Google Play prices. Open ShiftCal regularly to refresh the home-screen widget. Internet access is required for ads and to buy or restore Google Play purchases.
