Divers are responsible for determining whether conditions are safe and whether a recovery should be attempted. Scuba diving involves serious risks. Divers should only accept jobs within their certification, training, experience, equipment, and comfort level and should follow applicable laws, regulations, dive standards, and local conditions. Recovery is never guaranteed. Water depth, visibility, currents, weather, access restrictions, item location, and other conditions may make recovery difficult or impossible.
