Full description
Pewter Hill Columns is a diagonal jumping game where nothing is ever removed. Every capture becomes a prisoner riding under your column, and one well-placed jump can set your own pieces free. HOW IT PLAYS - A seven by seven board with 25 playable squares and 11 soldiers per side. - Pieces form columns that move as one unit, commanded by the top piece. - Soldiers step diagonally forward; officers step diagonally either way. - Jumps are compulsory and chain. The jumper takes only the top piece and tucks it under its own column. - A jumped column stays behind under new command, which can free captured friends. - A soldier reaching the far row becomes an officer. Leave your opponent with no move to win. WHY YOU WILL KEEP PLAYING - Captured pieces stay on the board as prisoners under the column that took them. - Long-press any stack to read it from commander to bottom. - Six computer opponents from gentle to relentless, unlocked by winning. - Illustrated rules, detailed stats and eleven medals to earn. QUIET AND PRIVATE Pewter Hill Columns is fully offline. There are no ads, no accounts, no permissions, no sound and no internet connection needed. Just you, the board and a patient opponent.
