Full description
Selling options for income sounds simple. Own 100 shares, sell a call against them. Or hold cash, sell a put, and get paid while you wait to buy lower. The hard part is choosing. Twenty stocks on a watchlist means thousands of strike and expiry pairs, the fattest premium is usually the riskiest, and most screeners sort by yield and leave you to find out which is which. OptionsKing does that sorting and shows its reasoning on every card. WHO IT IS FOR - You own 100 shares of something and want to sell covered calls against them - You hold cash, would happily buy a stock lower, and want to be paid to wait - You're new to options and want to learn the wheel on paper before real money is at stake - You're tired of screeners that rank by yield and nothing else WHAT YOU GET - Top options across your watchlist: covered calls, cash-secured puts, the wheel, and defined-risk spreads (verticals, iron condors, iron butterflies, broken-wing) - A confidence score on every card. 0 to 100, deterministic, with the whole card tinted green, amber or red to match, so you can scan the list without reading it - A list sorted by that score, highest first, and by nothing else. Want the ones that also pay well? Filter by ROI and the order stays by confidence - The numbers before you commit: premium, the chance you keep it, the chance of assignment, fill odds at the suggested limit, max loss on a spread, and what happens to your shares or cash if it goes the other way - A hard stop on earnings. A confirmed earnings date inside the expiry window rules a trade out, whatever it scores - A glossary on the words themselves. Tap keep, assign, fill or any of 31 terms right on the card - A Learn tab with 107 lessons in 11 series, from your first contract to the Greeks, readable with no signal. Each ends with a five-question check, and the questions you miss come back for review - Paper trading with a virtual balance and the same scan. Place, keep, get assigned, book the result, with nothing on the line - A Progress tab that counts what you have learned: lessons done, reviews due, and the paper trades you have practiced - A ledger of what you actually collected. The Income view is built from your own filled trades, never from what the app suggested - Collateral checks, so you can't record a covered call on shares you don't hold, or a put your cash can't back - One pick each weekday at 9am Pacific, if you want it. On or off in Settings - App lock with your fingerprint, your face or your screen lock WHAT IT WON'T DO - Connect to your broker. No account to link, no credentials, no order it can place. You place every trade yourself - Hide a bad week. There is no quality floor, so on a quiet market the top pick can be a weak one, and its score says so - Promise you a number. No projected yields, no model track record. The only performance figures in the app are the ones your own trades produced - Backtest, build custom filters or bet on direction. It does one strategy family and stops at the decision Not financial advice. OptionsKing is an informational tool, not a financial adviser or a broker. It never places, modifies, or cancels a trade, and it never reads a brokerage account. Options trading carries substantial risk of loss, including assignment and losses larger than the premium you received, and is not suitable for every investor. Market data is delayed by roughly 15 minutes, so confirm the live price with your broker before you place anything. Past outcomes do not predict future results, and every figure shown reflects only your own recorded trades.

What's new

All 107 Learn lessons have been rewritten with clear learning goals, worked examples, and a question with an explanation you can reveal. Updated quizzes, glossary definitions, paper-trading explanations, and interactive examples help you apply the ideas and understand the risks.
